We live by a strict commitment to client primacy and an unwavering mandate that the purpose of a for-profit corporation is to maximize longterm value to investors and shareholders.
Studies have shown that the use of ESG —environmental, social and governance— criteria to inform the allocation of client capital isn’t profitable.1 Shareholder capitalism has outperformed stakeholder capitalism by over 3% annually for the past 35+ years.2
Despite this fact, many fund managers have shifted away from prioritizing the shareholders they serve and used their clients’ capital to advance other stakeholders’ interests. We view this as a major fiduciary breach.
Our sole obligation is to the financial interests of our clients. We unapologetically prioritize our clients over other stakeholders.
